The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is an annual ranking system launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in 2015. It evaluates and ranks higher education institutions across various categories such as Overall, Management, Pharmacy, Engineering, and more. NIRF uses a multi-dimensional framework based on parameters like teaching, learning, and resources; research and professional practice; graduation outcomes; outreach and inclusivity; and perception. The rankings aim to promote excellence in education and provide transparency for students and stakeholders.
