About Library

  • The college has a fully equipped library, in which more than twelve thousand books research books and reference books are available. The aim of college education and college libraries in inter-related.
  • College library extends opportunities for self-education to the deserving and enthusiastic students without any distinction. it is well stocked and collection consists of more than 12,000 books. Collection is continuously updated with changes in curriculum.
  • The college has a Reading room facilities with daily newspapers and magazines.
  • The college has the facility of reading books in the library established by ‘Hans Foundation’.

General Library Rules and Manual

  • The library will remain open from 10 AM to 5 PM on every working day.
  • 03 books will be issued to each students for 15 days. Renewal of books will be necessary after the mention period.
  • If the book is lost or deposited in a damaged condition, printed price of that book will have to be deposited by student in the library.
  • Putting any kind of permanent mark on books with pen/marker/sketch etc and covering on books is strictly prohibited.
  • Students should not rest or keep their feet on tables, chairs, shelves, etc. Smoking, pan chewing and spitting in the library and Reading room is prohibited.

Book Bank Facility

  • The college has book bank facility. apart from this, there is sufficient collection of 110 books donated by “Uttar Pradesh Bhasha Nidhi”so that the students take benefit to it regularly.
  • A book bank is a section of a library that reserves text books, reference books and other miscellaneous books for students. The main objective of Book Bank in college is to encourage students towards studies by providing informational and educational support right from the institute itself.
  • Apart from the above, there is a vast collection of books donated to our college time to time.

E-Granthalaya

  • In this College e-Granthalaya has been established by NIC Delhi.
  • e-Granthalaya is A digital agenda for automation and networking of libraries. This cluster of e-Granthalaya has been established to provide various e-library services to the students and faculties.
  • The management system of the library has become digital format from e-Granthalaya. This will greatly facilitate the teaching work for teachers, students studying in universities and colleges.
  • In future all the colleges will be linked to one portal. So that if any books are not available in any college, then by connecting them on the same portal, students will be able to study all the books through e-Granthalaya.

 

Facility from e-Granthalaya

  •  The work of digitization of books related to Phase II is in under progress in this college. Then library will be operated on digital format by e-Granthalaya.
  • New version 4.0 of e-Granthalaya is a cloud ready application. 
  • Reading of books is now possible and accessible from mobile/tablet.
  • Students unable to come college regularly can also study books through online mode.
  • Exchange of books from library has become easy now for students and library staff  due to online mode.
  • Book maintenance, management, enumeration and physical verification process has become easier now.
